The Contour Wrap Treatment
Consultation
Firstly, we have a thorough consultation. We will record your specific needs and ensure that there are no contra-indications to the body wrap treatment. The information is recorded confidentially for our records.
Measurement
We measure your body in specific places and the 'before' results are recorded.
Contour Gel Application
We apply Contour Gel the areas of your body that are being treated. The Contour Gel is a combination of four blended Essential Oils in an Aloe Vera Gel base. It is non-sticky and the superior blend of essential oils warms the tissues, increases circulation and improves the condition of your skin.
Relaxation
After being wrapped with bandage like strips, we leave you to relax on the couch for an hour. You will be made comfortable and kept warm. During the hour, we will check on you regularly to make sure you are okay.
At the end of the relaxation period, the Contour Wrap Bandages are removed and the same areas of your body are re-measured. Your skin will also feel warm, soft and smooth.
Instant Results Of The Body Wrap
The instant impact of the body wrap means you could drop a dress size. You will lose between 6-14 inches from your body and it will stay off if you stick to the aftercare.
It is a myth that if you drink a glass of water after the treatment, you will put the inches back on. In fact the more water you drink the longer the inch loss lasts!
Body Wrap Aftercare
- Avoid alcohol and heavy meals for 24 hours after treatment
- Always drink plenty of water after treatment
- Do not undertake any other body treatments for 48 hours after treatment
- Stay away from direct sunlight / sunbeds and heat e.g. saunas for 48 hours after treatment
- Keep skincare products to a minimum for 24 hours after treatment
- Stay relaxed 12 hours after treatment
- For long term results book in for regular treatments and use the home care products prescribed as well as an SPF
- Please do not drink tea, coffee, alcohol or fizzy drinks for 48 hours following a wrap
- Please avoid bathing or showering until the following day (additional tightening and inch loss occurs for up to 12 hours)
- Please support your body wrap with a healthy diet and regular exercise
